THE INTERSTATE MATCHES MELBOURNE, November 5. § f For the test match at Moonee f Ponds the weather was bitterly cold, affecting the new Zealanders, several of whom were unable to play owing to influenza. The green was heavy though it played well. The single handed bowling championships have commenced on the Melbourne Cricket Club's green, which is rather heavy. The second round will be played on Wednesday.
