THE BANK BURGLARY
. + PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATIONCOPYRIGHT.]
NO CLUE OBTAINABLE. SYDNEY, September 25. Evidently two or more were engaged in the attempt on the English and Scottish Bank. Despite the fact that the robbers had to traverse a considerable length of roof to reach the bank and to make the electric connection, the police are without a clue. Colour is leut to the theory that American cracksmen took a hand by a statement that three Well kuown criminals, wno escaped from prison at time of the Frisco earthquake, landed in Sydney within the last fortnight. SYDNEY, September 26. The police have discovered tools indicating that the bank robbers are employed in the cycle trade.
