ROYALTIES IN FLIGHT
BERLIN, September lg. A special Royal train from Russia passed through Berlin for Brussels and Paris. According to two of the Berlin newspapers, it contained several Grand Dukes and Uuchesses migrating to escape assassination. EIGHT DAYS' KILLINGS. ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 18. Official telegrams aunounce that for the four days ending on the 15th inst, eight soldiers, policemen and officials aud 88 private individuals were killed, while seven soldiers, policemen and officials and 133 private persons were wounded in armed encounters in Russia. Seven mansions, and 81 houses were burnt. Twenty-six persons were senteuced to death, and 17 to penal servitude. Sixteen soldiers and police and four civiliaus were killed during robberies, and eight were killed during disturbances in prison. Count Witte is undergoing an operation for polypus in the throat.
