MAGISTRATE'S COURT, NGARUAWAHIA.
TUESDAY. (Before Mr H. W. Northcroft, S.M,) Charles Mathers, for leaving his horses unattended was ordered to pay costs 13s. Seven Huntly residents, Mrs VVm. Poole, and Messrs E Bowling (2 charges), Jumes Ilickey, A. Stewart, G.J. Farroll, Berry and A. D.tvis were convicted of trespassing on the railway line, and ordered to pay 37s costs each. Air Skelton, for Messrs Devore and Martin, appeared for the prosecution. Robert Hogg was charged with procuring liquor for a prohibited person.—The case was partially heard and then adjourned till noxt Court day. CIVIL CASES. Gilbert v Skellern, claim i!l02. IMaintiff did not appear, and judgment was given for defendant, for whom Mr MacDiarmid appeared, with costs on the full scale. Taupiri Sawmill Company v. A. 3. Muir : Claim £S 9s. Judgment for plaintiff with costs. Henderson v. Faimona: Claim .£2 18s. Judgment for plaintiff with costs.
