ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS.
CAMBRIDGE
The annual election to till the three ! vacancies on the Board, took place at Cambridge on Saturday last. Mr T. Hartly acted as returning officer, Mr T. Fawcett Howe assisting him as poll c'erk. The result was as followsW. Newell 77, A. W. Gane 75, G. Booth 63, B. H. Lund I<s Informal 2. The first three gentlemen were therefore declared duly elected WAITOA. At the Waitoa Road Board election on Saturday, Messrs Bellamy, Borne and Steele were the successful candidates. The Piako Ratepayers' Reform Association is to be congratulated on the return of two of its selocted candidates, Messrs Borrio and Steele. The other was Mr Tretheway.
