HAMILTON CYCLING CLUB
An enthusiastic meeting of those interested in forming a Cyciing Club in Hamilton, was held in the Waikato Times buildings last evening, Mr B. Peace in the chair. It was unanimously decided to form a club, to be known :is the Hamilton Cycling Club, and to carry cut a sports meeting at Hamilton about Easter week. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Father Darby; president, Mr J. W. H. Bright: vice-presidents, Messrs F. W. Ling, M.H.R, W. Dey, senr., I. Coates, W. A. Graham, J. Smith, W. H. Mackenzie,|J. McCrae, X. C. Matthew, J. Varney, C. Horsnell, U. Upton, C. L. MacDiarmid, W. Dey, ju.ir., J.*E. Hammond, B. Peace, G. C. Mayo, Parr Bros., E. Hall, A. E. Manning, R. F. Sandes, T. Gallagher, J. Siuclair, Hardley Bros, P. ime & Goodfellow, Fort & Fletcher, Mclvee i Matthews. R. .1. Gwynne. R. J. Paull, J. S. Bond, 8. Harker. H. H. Howden, T, Stone, E. Beavin, A. J. Storey, J. A. Young, E. MeGarrigle, P. Watts, H. E. Tristram, Drs Brewis and Going, and Revs. RadcliiTe and Fisher; capt-inV4fr B. p enee ; viee-.'aptain, Mr W. "' jve.l' ; hon. sec. and treas., Mr T. Hope: assistant secretary, Mr H. Taylor. It decided to hold another meeting on Tuesday next to arrange details for the illuminated cycle parade in connection with the Rowing Club's carnival on February Sth.
