BURGLARY IN AUCKLAND.
♦ (By Telegraph— Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Burglars secured a good haul at the drapery establishment of Mr J. Randall, Newton. An entrance was offectjd by a side door, skeleton keys being used, and the burglars ramsaoked the till and oecret fire-proof safe. The latter contained the sum of £6O, which the burglars It is thought that the burglars were familiar with the premises, as to get at the secret safe, which was built principally as a safe-guard against the ravages of fire, it was necessary to lift part of the flooring.
