THE CZAR'S MARRIAGE.

Czar Nicholas was married to-day. The ceremony was performed in the Winter Palace, and was of a semiState character. Sixty members of Royal families were present. The streets were lined with troops, Four hundred and sixty delegates presented addresses to the happy couple. Among the guests were the Prince of Wales and the Duke of York.

The Czar and his bride are walking about the streets of the capital un-> guarded.

November 27. - The Czar has announced his intention to remit debts to the Crown and arrears in taxes in honour of his marriage. He will restore their birthrights to the Polish rebels of 18G3, and direct an enquiry as to the possibility 'of granting an'amnesty to many of the political prisoners. The police exercised but little interference with the crowds, who were allowed to press close to the carriages of the procession. Ban .is stationed at intervals along the streets greeted the Czar with the National Anthem. The crowd heartily cheered the Prince of Wales and the other guests. A salute of three hundred guns was fired upon the conclusion of the marriage service.

The Czar gave dinners to forty thousand poor in memory of the occasion.

The Czar expressed his pleasure at his appointment as Colonel of the Scots Greys. Later. The Czar does not restore to the Poles the property confiscated in 1863. London, November 27.
