RELIGIOUS RIOTS.
(by electric telegraph,-copyright,) St. Petersburg, November 30, The Russian Government ordered the closing of the; Roman Catholic Church' in Koono, the capital of,a Government of the same name in European Russia on Baltic.
•. ■ Th<) Catholics resented the interfere ence and occupied the church.
Troops were summoned to expel them, and in doing so killed twenty, and wounded a hundred. The remainder fled aiid were pursued by Cossacks. Many lost their lives in at» tempting to cross the river Neiraen.
