(BY ELECTRIC TKLKGRAI'H.—COPYRIGHT.). BItISIIAXE, Jill)' 13. The Queensland National Bank has suspended payment, Its liabilities arc £lO,G22,9"o,including £S,S2G,OG'! of deposits. Its assets include £5,133,357 worth or advances and other due debts, also £106,395 wortli of coin and bullion.
The cause of suspension is attributed to the continuous withdrawal of money in the London office. A scheme of reconstruction is now under consideration.
