HAMILTON CRICKET CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Hamilton Cricket Club was held in The Waikato Times Buildings on Thursday evening. There was a good attendance, Mr George Edgecumbe presiding. Repoiits.—The secretary's report showed that the club had won the Waikato championship last season, playing nine matches, winning eight ami losing one, thin training the medals presented by the Waikato Cricket Association. The batting averag« was secured by Mr \V. F. Browning, his figures reading reu.arkably wall—ll inning*, three times n ( >t out, runs scored 337, most in an innings 81 (not out) :: vernge 42*1, Mr C. J. W. Barton's bowling was very successful, his figures being : Balls bowled OSS, wides 2. runs 190, wickets 51; average 3*82. Mr Browning won tho but presented by the Association, and Mr barton will, in all probability, win the ball, also presented by the Association. The treasurer's statement was also read, ant! the club was considered to tie very satisfactory financial position, lhe reports were adopted. COLOUIts. —The colmus of tho club were fixed as navy blue and white stripes.
