Has proved himself very fast on the flat, and good over hurdles and across country. Bay Mare, Silwyn, 4 years old, by Ingomar, out of Blink Bonny, by Ravensworth. Blink Bonny is the dam of Taraweiu, who won many flat races. Zip is over 16 hands high, has won many races over hurdles, and is in foal to Cas'or Prudence, Chestnut Mare, by Danebury, out of Discretion ; discretion by Towton, out of Cassandra, by Priam, out of Princess, J by Gratis, out of Roankit. Prudence has won many flat races, and is in foal to Castor Duchess, Brown Mare, bred by Mr Nathan, and has never been raced ; got by Muske k , oiu of Lady St. Clair, by Pacific— Glaucus mare. Duchess won Ist prize at South Franklin Show in IS9O, and silver cup at same Society's Show last year, for best brood mare ; in foal to Castor. Anyone having stallions to sell would do well to enter them at once for this Sale, as this wi'l he the best opportunity of the season to sell such.
