Thk usual monthly meeting of the Kirikirirna Road Boar I iw held at the W»ikato County Council Oiisimtjars, Hamilton, yesterday. There ware present : Messrs Primrose (chairman), Coated, Gillett, White and Maclean. Fuuzh.—The Chairman reported th > t Mrs Edmonds and Mr George Wtshart had complied with the notice to clear furze, but Mr Willan had not as yet done so, and the clerk was instructed to tike proceedings against him at "tic-". —Mr T. H. White, on behalf of Mr Fairer, called attention to the furze on the River Road.— Mr White was authorised to report on the furze on this mad. Bridge.—The Chairman and Mr T. H. Whito were appointed t > inspect the creak on the road to Mr Farrai's, and report at the next meeting as to the erection of a bridge. COLVERT.—It was decided to grant Mr \V. Chitty seven nine-inch pipes to put in a culvert on Clarkin's Road. Repairs.—Mr Maclean reported that Mr Taylor had pointed out to him that one of the bridges on Grey's Road vvas out of repair.—Mr White was instructed to inspect the place and report. Roads. —Mr Coates recommended that at the proper time stops should be taken to form the Piako Road from the Waitoa boundary, and he was requested to draw up specifications for next meeting. Funds.—The clerk reported that the account was £317 Os 3d in credit, and after the whole of the Hospital contribution had been paid, there would be a credit balance of £199 CN !)d. Hi also stited that the ratable value of the property in the district was now £327,204, which, at. M in the £, would bring in for this year £081 13< 6d. Gravel. —The Chairman said that a considerable portion of the road between Woodlands and Taupiri would require gravelling this year, as this was the road on which thero was the heaviest traffic in the district. Payments.—The following accounts were passed for payment M. Kieley, £5 4s 2d ; Johnson, £7 7s ; clerk, £8 13*.
