(by telegraph—press association. ) NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Mr Samckl, M.H.R., in addressing his constituents advocated further borrowing and said he did not intend to stand for re-election. The wharf carters and express drivers have given notice that they will go out on strike next month unless their demands are conceded. CHRISTCHUROH, Last night. The Nautical Court gave judgment re the Dingadee wreck, to the effect that the master showed want of judgment. His certificate was returned to him, but he was ordered to pay costs. The Court strongly urged the necessity of placing a light on the Kiomungi.
