IRONWORKS AT HUNTLY.
Meshbs Minnktt and Jones of Huntly demonstrated satisfactory on Saturday that they had discovered a process for treating the Taranaki ironsand successfully. Messrs Claude and Carpenter, two well-known Auckland gentlemen were present, and formed a high estimate of the procesn. We have been shown a lump of melted oro and a fractured button of the r metal, which presentF a remarkable fine and even grain, having a bright lustrous face. We wish tne tacky proprietors every success in their project.
