Raglan Races. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] Raglan, Thursday.

For the last few days a steady stream of visitors hare poured into this place. And yesterday morning (S. Patrick's Day) a large company had gathered on the Raglan racecourse to witness the annual races. Settlers arrived from all parts of the Waikato district, and never in one day before were so many vehicles of all kinds to be found here. The morning looked dull and threatening, but the clouds cleared off before the races were well on. The following gentlemen officiated on the course: — Judge, Mr Sutton ; starter, Mr T. Wilson j clerk of the course, Mr W, Barlow ; clerk of the scales, Mr J. H. Phillips ; stewards, Messrs S. Wilson, Mita Karaka, N. King, J, Burgess, C. Gilmour. The following are the results of the different events: — Hurdlk Race, of 12sovs. Mr Mathias' Mursell 1 Mr King's Warlock 2 Chanticleer also ran, but tripped on the last hurdle, throw ing- his rider, A.
