Tjie new Victorian Parliament was opened to-day by commission, after which the members were sworn in. Mi- Lalor was unanimously re-elec-ted Speaker of the House of Representatives. An adjournment will be made until June Ist, in order to enable Ministers to mature their policy.
Iloiuur, Wednesday. FuRTHKit examination shows that only two men on boaid the Diamond uro suffering from typhoid fever and beven from simple fever. The remaining eight patients are progressing rapidly towards convalesence.
