THE CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.
ro thk KDiroß. •Sir,— Mr J. N. Pegler, in your issue nf Tuesday, tho 2nd in*t., ha.s a letter to Mr W. A. Graham, cli.uiinan of directors in " Farmern' Co-operative," in which he impugns the correctness of what appeared in v<)»r issue of the sth ult., relating to the Auckland management. It is quite refreshing to read hw remarks anent it, all of w hich I quietly paw. The truth of what I then wrote can be \ouched for by settlers in the district, not merely from a nook at Karioi, but from Kuapuko to Waitetuna. If what I have written h*i been the means of calling the director-*' attention to matters of which the least that can be said is that they were improvable, I have done good. I claim to be a " fiiend " of the Association, having been a strong Advocate for it. lam well awaro that the directory, more particularly the chairman, have done their utmost to make it a succsss. Not ha\ing any desire to cite in&tance* I proving the truth »f what I wrote, I will for the present let "sleeping dogs lie." — I am, yours very truly, "Pno Boko Pubmco."
