Londox, July 2. The Conservative membess of the House of Lords are understood to bo unanimous as to the necessity of rejecting the bill for the referm of the franchise, which has been sent up from the House of Commons.

The Egyptian Conference continued its deliberations to-day. Mr Edward Vincent, financial adviser to the Khedive, recommended that the tax now levied on Egypt should be largely reduced. July 3.

The cargo of frozen mutton, ex steamsteamship Liguria, comprising 5130 carcases, fiom Melbourne and Sydney, has been sold at 5d per Ib. The meat was in good condition. Paris, July 2.

A report is current here to-day that Nubar Pa&ha, President of the Council of Ministers, has tendered his resignation to the Khedive, and that Kiaz Pasha, who was 2dinister of the Interior in the Cherif Administration, has been

summoned to form a now Ministry. The leported resignation of Nubar Pdsh.i, President of the Egyptian Council of Ministers, is authoritatively denied.
