HAMILTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
Tin: annual congregational meeting of the above church was held on Friday evening la-,t, for the puiposc of icceiving the secretary's repoit and treasurer \s statement, and electing a new committee for the year now curient. There was a fair attendance. The meeting was opened by the Key. Mr Raeburn, after which Mr A, Pumin^e was voted to the chair, who conducted the business of the meeting. The statement gave much satisfaction, shewing that the income from the various sources namely, Hamilton, Kirikiriroa, Woodlands, Pukete, and Ngaruawahia Sunday collections and the quarterly subscriptions more than covered the ordinary eKpense^. The meeting expressed its appreciation of Miss Cawkwell's gratuitous services in presiding at the harmonium tin oughout the year, and appointed a committee to give practical effect to those feelings. Votei of thanks weie also passed to Miss Jesiie Runcunan and Mr James Primrose for special services rendered at a sacntice of much of their time. The Upv, 3lr Raeburn addies^ed the mooting, commending them to aim at making their church a spiiitual success as their chief object, and in feeling touns e\pre->>-ecl lvi gratitude for the invariable kindness he had received since he ainved among them.
