The West Coast coach upset in the Otira Gorge. Two horses were drowned. The passengers were rescued with difficulty. The mail was saturated, but is safe* Friday. Salvator Lizza, accused of arson, was discharged after evidence from prosecutor, without being called upon for his defence. y At the annual meeting of the gas company, the revenue was reported to be £31,426, and the expenditure £16,000. The dividend for the year on the paid-up capital of £95,000 amounted to £12,666.
