The monthly meeting of the Waitoa Road Board w.is held on Saturday, there being present Messrs Cliepmell, Gould and Buck. The enginoeis, Messrs Sandes and Napper, were al-.o in attendance. JJurge's contract not very .satisfactory ; D. Murphy same ; T. Russell's work good, but blow. M.nnpiice, Kay and Co. have forfeited their deposit, and the contiact has been let to M.
