KIHIKIHI.

Thk funeral of the late Mr Oei'emial) Corboy, whose death occurred here on Saturday morning, took place yesterday, and was largely attended to his last resting-place at Rangiaohia. The deceased, who was 72 years of age, was a general favourite throughout the district, his warm and genial manners endeared him in every place and with all who had the pleasure of knowing him during his long life. His virtues as a Christian and a faithful follower of his Divine Master were beautifully and pathetically touched upon by the Rev. Father Luck in his sermon on Sunday evening in the Kihikihi Church. He survived his late son, William, just six months, but he had the consolation of having his eldest surviving sou, Mr Patrick Corboy, of Whatawhata, at his bedside during his last peaceful and happy 'moments.— [OWn Correspondent, June, 4th.] *
