CHRISTMAS' TRUE AT CAMBRIDGE.
The Christmas tree entertainment in connection with the Wesleyaii Church, at the Cambridge Public Hall' on Thursday evening last, was a thoiough success, both in regard to the purpose in which it was in aid, as we'l -is in regard to the public satisfaction. The h ill was well filled by parents •and children, the latter, particularly, deriving much sati&faction trom the compensating nature of the proceed iugs. The Key Mr Carr delivered the opening ad Iress, in which he spoke of the object of thf gathering that evening. He apologised for the absence of Mi&s Taylor and Mr H. W. Aiooro, who had consented to contribute to the evening's progiamme, but who were unavoidably prevented from doing so. The proceeds of the evening, which, we believe, are considerable, were in aid of the Parsonage Fund of the \yesleyau Church.
