Telegrams received from Pretoria announce that the Volli^raad has concluded its consideration of the ' report of the Committee appointed to decide upon the ratification or rejection of the Transvaal Conventipn ? and it has further transpired that in accordance with" the orders of the Volksraad, President Kruger has telegraphed to the Imperial authorities in London that it has been decided that the Convention is contrary to the spirit' of the treaty.
