THAMES CATTLE MARKET.

Messrs B inks and Co.'s Weekly Report. — At the P.irawai cattle sale on Thursday, the supply of f.it cattle was again abundant. The draft of steers and heifers from Messrs. Gould Bios., Waitoa. estate, w ere of \ .triable sue, but all or good quality. Ihe bidding was very irregular, some lots realising late rates, while others fell to purchasers at a much lower figure. The sheep offered were mostly prime wethers from Hikutaia but the bidding being below the owner's price, very few lots were sold. Prices • Best beef, from 21s Gil to 24s per toolbs. ; mutton, 2jd to aid per lb.
London Markets. — London, March 29 • Consols remain <it par. New Zealand 5 per cent., 10-40 loan, is io2?i ; New Zealand 5 por cent , 1880 loan, is iioi , 4^ per rents., 1879-1904 loan, i\ 07$, Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, has declined to 50b. New Zealand wheat, ex ship, remains at 46s Adelaide flour, e\ warehouse, is J4S. Australian best beef tallow is unchanged at 335, and best mutton at 36b per cvt.
