Hawera, Last Night.
Major Atkinson addressed his constituents last night, and received a unanimous vote of confidence. In answer to a question, he stated that the Government did not contemplate raising another loan. He did not &now how long Ministers would remain in office, and of course they could not say what their successors might do. He stated that the percentage would not be taken off Civil servants this year, but all salaries would be reduced to what was thought right.
