[«Y JXECTRIC TELEGRAPH, OWN' CORRESPONDENT.] Alexandra, Last Night. At the Kesident Magistrate's Court today, before H. W. Northcroft, Esq., R.M., the following cases were heard :— Maunder v. G. McFarlane. The defendant was charged with having an unregistered dog in his possession. He, however, proved that the dog had a collar, and judgment was given for defendant with costs, £4 2s, he having come from Te Aroha to appear.— Maunder v. Souther. This was a similar case. Defendant proved that the dog was registered in JRaglan County, and judgment was given for him with costs, p 12s. — McDonald v. Manktelow. Debt, £1 2s. Mr Gresham for plaintiff.
