RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COUR T, ALEXANDRA.
[«Y JXECTRIC TELEGRAPH, OWN' CORRESPONDENT.] Alexandra, Last Night. At the Kesident Magistrate's Court today, before H. W. Northcroft, Esq., R.M., the following cases were heard :— Maunder v. G. McFarlane. The defendant was charged with having an unregistered dog in his possession. He, however, proved that the dog had a collar, and judgment was given for defendant with costs, £4 2s, he having come from Te Aroha to appear.— Maunder v. Souther. This was a similar case. Defendant proved that the dog was registered in JRaglan County, and judgment was given for him with costs, p 12s. — McDonald v. Manktelow. Debt, £1 2s. Mr Gresham for plaintiff. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for plaintiff with costs, Uls 6d ; Hall v. Jtox, po

Baker, Mr Gresham for plaintiff, debt, Ll9 5s 9d ; no appearance. Judgment for plaintiff, costs, L 2 4a 6d. Aubin y. Kipley, debt, 11s. Mr Gresham for plaintiff, no appearance of defendant. Judgment for plaintiff, Ll 9s 9d. Maunder v. Walter J?aHl, highway rates, 10s. Judgment for plaintiff with costs, Ll ss. Od.
