Blenheim, Tuesday.
Mr "W. Welford, merchant, of Picton, died suddenly last night. He went to a •friend's house with Captain Kennedy at 7 o'clock. On arrival he appeared to faint in the chair. Kestoratives were used, but on Dr. Scott's arrival, in a few minutes, Mr Welford was dead. The cause is said to be heart disease.
