Dunedin, Tuesday.
Messrs. Dargill, G'.bbs and Co, received the following telegram from Messrs. Helmuth, Schwartz and Co., London, dated 12th instant : — •' There is increased animation in wool. Prices show an average rise of Ad per lb., as compared with the lowest rates in the present series." A telegram, received in town to-day, states that the Railway Hotel at Lawrence has been burned down. The building was insured in the New Zealand Office for £500, and the stock and furniture in the National for £300.
