OBITUARY
PATRICIA ELEANOR BELL. Ffiends of Airs T. J. Price heard with cteoip regret of the death of her granddaughter, who passed away at Dunedin, at the very early ago of 19 years. Patricia Eleanor Bell was the only daughter of Air and Airs A. S. Bell (nee Price) and was horn at Alexandra, Central Otago. When her parents moved to Dunedin she started school at Anderson’s Bay. From there she was at Bluff for a year or two and later at Owaka, where she finished ’ her primary studies. She attended -the secondary school at Owaka and Timaru Girls’ High, where she did well Both in studies and in sports. After passing the examination she matriculated at Dunedin, taking lectures at Otago University when she entered the Training College there. • Of a bright, happy, and studious disposition, she was well known in Riverton on the occasion of her frequent visits to her grandmother, and her passing away at tins young age is sadly mourned. It is thought that her studious habits were the cause of undermining her health. The interment took place at Balclutha, being attended as a token ot sympathy and regard by many friends of her parents. Air A. «. iieti is manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Owaka.
