WEDDING
PATRICK—ST-ENTON.. . A wedding of interest was' solemnised in St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Friday evening when Doreen Winifred, second daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Stenton, was united to Gordon Lennox, second son of Mr and Mrs E. B. Patrick. Messrs F. Stenton (Riverton) and R. Harper (Dunedin) acted as ushers. Rev,. Irwin was the officiating clergyman. , The bride entered tlie Church on the ann of her father. She wore a, charming trained gown of ivory satin cut in, media style. Her veil which was worn over the face upon • entering tlie Church, fell softly from a, halo, of orange blossoms. The bouquet she carried was of freezias and winter roses. Attending her as bridesmaid was her sister, Rita, who wore a frock of primrose chenille and coquette cap of tulle -find silver loses. Her bouquet was of freezias and hyacinths. The bridegroom . was attended by his brother Alan. . After the ceremony the reception was neld in. Moro’s Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs ~Stenton and’Mrs Patrick. • Mrs Stenton wore a wine frock under a black coat and hat to tone. Her shoulder, spray was ol freezias. Mrs Patrick, .wore a frock oi Paisley crepe with, a, black coat and .hat. She wore,.a shoulder spray to tone.
