BRIGHT, STEPHENSON A CO.. LTD., have received Instructions from A. IV. Rodger, Esq., to sell by public auction, as above, his very old-established flock of ROMNEY AIARSH SHEEP, consisting of—--163 Ewes (32 four-tooths, 36 sixtooths. 85 eight-tooths) 110 Ram, Lambs. All of those Ewes arc registered in the N.Z. Romney Afarsh Flock Book, and, as they have recently been approved and tattooed by the Inspector of the Romney Afarsh Association, transfers will be guaranteed. Any ewes not eligible have already been taken out. The Flock, which is No. 483, w;v originally established by the late Air James Gardner. The Flock has always been, carefully bred, hut the sheep have never been pampered, and they will do well wherever they go. Those interested, therefore, in purebred Romneys are recommended to attend this side, as it- affords -a rare opportunity of gelling fresh blood of a good type. The sheep will be sold in lots to .suit purchasers. NOTE.—None of the tops have been taken out of either the ewes or lamb's.
