The choir was singing a new arrangement of the beautiful hymn, “ Oh, for a Mansion in the Sky." The pure, sweet voices of the ladies rose clearly and distinctly in the solo :-“Oh for a Man ! Oh, for a Man ! Oh, for a Mansion in the Sky,” The gentlemen joining in with ; “Send down Sal! Send down Sal! Send down Salvation from on High." “Brethern,” said the grey-haired, oldfashioned pastor, when the choir had finished, “ we will begin the service of the morning by singing the familiar hymn, ‘ And am I yet alive ?
