THE ROUND HILL SYNDICATE, Ltd.
TO IUI! EDITOR. Sir,—lf having como'to my knowledge that the above Syudicato or myself has been endeavoring to obtain more gpound at Round Hill by means of what is commonly termed dummyism, I trust you will allow me, through the medium of your valuablo paper, to most emphatically deny that the Syndicate or myself bas ever attempted to do anything of the kind or in aey way whatever contemplated the securing of larger arpas than are already in their possession by such or similar means. I feel suro readers and yourself will ogre'iwith me that snob an insinuation without, tho slightest grain of truth to back up tho samo, is a grave injustice to an undertaking which promises to bo of great benefit to the district; to givo my donial more weight I shall bo pleased to baud over £3O tho Rtvorton Hospital fund if itoyubo proved that the Syndicate or myself has been, w or likely to bo conucdled with such a proceeding as referred to in tho first part of my letter. Thanking yon in anticipation of yon giving the above donial due publicity in your columns—l am, etc., George Evans, General Manager, The Bound Hill Syndicate, Ltd. Juno 26tb, 1891.
