INTERCOLONIAL Melbourne, Sept. 12. Disastrous floods hare taken place at Eohuca, on the Murray river. Many of the residents have been compelled to take refuge on the high groiind, where they are living in tents. Boats have been sent up from Melbourne in order to rescue the people from their perilous position. Deniliquin is surrounded by water. The snow waters have reached' Albury and the River Murray is 15 feet above summer level. The water is expected to reach Deniliquin on Sunday night, when the town will be submerged. The inhabitants are preparing for the worst.
