Passengers—Miss Watson, Mr Knighton, Messrs McGregor, Parsons, Kineton, Jennings and one steerage. SAILED Aug. 30—Te Anau, for Melbourne. The steamship Bayley, of the Colonial line from London, via Australian ports and Oaraaru, arrivod on Wednesday. At the last mentioned port she loaded 15,000 carcases frozefn mutton, and will take 8000 carcases from the Southland Company's works. The City of Paris, on her first trip to New York, consumed an average of 285 tons of coal per day. On the day in which she soored 498 points it is probable 300 tons were burned in her furnaces.
