ELECTRIC TRAGEDY
TWO YOUTHS IN BATH CONTACT WITH LIVE WIRE BRISBANE, December 27. Joseph Gehrmann, aged 17, and Robert Richardson, aged 15, were electrocuted in the public bathing enclosure at Scarness. They were seated on the springboard when a strong wind swung the overhead wire dangerously low, and as Gehrmann stood up to dive his arms touched the wire. He was hurled forward and took the wire with him. It also touched Richardson. Both fell into the water. The bodies were later recovered.
