It was decided .to recommieiid that the next Methodist Conference should set up a committee to consider marriage, divorce and (birth control. Synod also carried the following resolution.: —“'That the Synod is of itlhie opinion that the d'isenuiinatian of knowledge in regard to 'birth control is (partly responsible for the declining (birth-rate i|n (Great Britain and the Doniiinion.
