Takapau Sunday School The an'nuial prize-giving and tea me'eting of the Takapau Presbyterian Sunday School was held in the Public Hall supipieir-room on Friday evening under the auspices of the Ladies’ Guild. Organised games under the supervision of the Rev. H. S. Scott and Mlisises- Morton, Vesty and F. McMillalw occupied a considerable part of the evening and were much enjoyed. An enjoyable variety programme was contributed, ■consisting o.f instrumental solos, reeitaltaons and a two-act play by the' children, the acting an d staging of which was outstanding and reflected much credit on those responsible for -its eiroduction. The prizes were presented by , the Rev. H. S. Scott, M.A., who thanked the members of the Ladies’ Guild and the Sunday school teachers for the efforts they had put into organising a- successful evening. A bounteous supper was served, which evidently was appreciated, arid terminated thd -evening’s proceedings.
