WAIPUKURAU MARKET TO-DAJ? VERY SMALL YARDING The smallest yarding for many weeks came forward at the Waipukurau stock sale to-day. Prices were:— Cattle Light prime Jersey heifer, passed at £4; 4 Jersey cross springing heifers passed at £2; empty Jersey heifer made £3 6s; Jersey cow, coming to third caif £4 10s.
Fat Sheep Two medium ewes made 13/9; 20 ditto 14/1; 13 medium hoggets 17s; 104 ditto passed at 18/7; 20 medium prime wethers made 23/3; 3 medium ewes 14/10.
Pen of 113 ewe hoggets 25/3; 107 good wether hoggets 21/6; 9 wether hoggets 19/3; 4-th wether 18/6; 6 ewe hoggets 23/3; 15 small ewe hoggets 16/1; 18 5-year ewes r.w. S.D. ram, 19/4.
