LACK OF ENTHUSIASM

The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes said to-day that the matter of introducing preferential voting at the next election had not come before him. He was unable to say more than that attempts had been made to secure the passage of a preferential voting bill, but there was a lack of enthusiasm for the measure.
