GUARANTEED PRICES
FOR DAIRY PRODUCE heretaunga opposition Decisive disapproval of the Labour Party’s proopsals for the introduction of guaranteed prices for dairy produce was expressed at the annual meeting of the shareholders of the Heretaunga Dairy Company on Saturday. The meeting carried unanimously a motion supporting the action taken by the chairman, Mr D. G. Begley. in opposing the proposal at the National Dairy Association conference recently. Mr Begley said that he considered that the (proposals were im(prae■ticable and would not stand investigation.
