WEALTH AND SQUALOR
A WIDOW FOUND DEAD DOGS SHARE DEATH-BED HOBART, Aug 16. The body of Mrs Annie Crawforii, aged 78, a widow who was reputed th' be worth £70,0 00, was the police at her home in Hobart. It lay in a bed in the midst of 18 live dogs. She had been dead for three days, during which time the dogs had been locked in a room. The premises were in a state of filth and squalor.
