LONDON VALUES RUSSIA ENTERS THE MARKET LONDON, July 18. At the wool sales, 9958 bales were offered, including 6038 New Zealand, about 7574 bales of Australian and New Zealand were sold to keen competition for better grades. Merino crossbreds were at full rates, but inferiors were somewhat irregular. The Russians were buying greasy crossbreds at hardening rates. 3-Bd. Slipe: Halfbred lambs, “Belfast” 15|d and 13 l-4d. BRADFORD TOPS LONDON, July 18. The upward movement in Merino tops at Bradford has been checked. Topmakers are finding it difficult to make the last advance. Crossbreds are firm, with a hardening tendency.
