Mrs P. F. Wall, Hatuma, is at present visiting Napier. ( Mr C. J. O’Reilly, Porangahau, has been re-elected as a member of* the Hawke’s Bay Land Board. He was not opposed for the seat. The death occurred in Napier on Saturday of Mr Thomas Benwick Harding, aged 83 years. He leaves a widow as the principal mourner. There passed away in Hastings yesterday an old resident in the person of Mr George Elder Hitie, aged 83 years. Rfe leaves a daughter, Mrs C. Sullivan, as the chief mourner. Mrs Todd, senr., of Norsewood, passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 72 years. She leaves three sons and one daughter to mourn their loss. They are Mrs Brown (Wellington), Messrs E. Todd and J. Todd (Norsewood) and F. Todd (King Country). Mrs Todd had been farming for over 30 years.
