LONDON, Juno 19. Results of the latest series of county cricket matches are as under:—

Somerset v. Surrey.—Surrey won on the first innings.

Gloucester v. Essex. —Gloucester first innings 306 (Dacre 93); second 252 (Hammond not out 165; Nichols five for 55). Essex, first innings 360 (O’Connor not out 182); second 190 (Parker six for 17). Gloucester won by eight runs. Derby v. Leicester.—Derby, first innings 218; second 190. Leicester, first innings 147 (Mitchell seven for 55); second 137 (Mitchell four for 67). Derby won by 124 runs.

Lancashire v. Notts.—Lancashire first innings 119 (Larwood six for 51, Voce four for 49); second seven for 394 s declared (Tyldesley 109; Larwood three for 85). Notts, first innings 26(1 LaTwood 80; Iddon five for 70); second 146 (Hopwood six for 58). Lancashire won by 101 runs.

Yorkshire v. Hampshire.—Yorkshire, first innings 425 (Mitchell 152, Leyland 87). Hampshire, first innings 235; followed on 111 (Leyland four for 16;.. Yorkshire won by an innings and 79 runs.
