A QUIET DAY
FOR MR. BERNARD SHAW VISITOR TO WELLINGTON (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr. Bernard Shaw arrived in Wellington this morning from Christchurch. He is spending a quiet day. A private reception was tendered by members of the Cabinet and this afternoon he and Mrs. Shaw drive out to the Hutt Valley to see friends at Heretaunga and Silverstream. He remains in Wellington until the departure of the Kangitane early on Friday morning for London.
