The Entomological Branch SERIOUS LACK OF SUPPORT FARMERS URGE CONFERENCE (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Following on discussion at a meeting of the Farmers’ Union yesterday upon the lack of support forthcoming for the entomological branch of the Cawthorne Institute, it was decided te-day, after thoroughly discussing the possibilities of co-ordination of Government departments and the institute, that the president, Mr. Polson, should interview the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes and urge the desirability of calling a conference of all parties interested in scientific research with the idea of eliminating waste.
