A YOUTH INJURED
DRAGGED BY A HORSE GOT TANGLED UP IN REINS PALMERSTON N., Last Night. A farm hand, James Marshall, aged 18, employed on the property of C. Broome, of Belvedere, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital to-day suffering from concussion. Marshall was taking the morning supply of milk to the Belvedere factory this morning when the belly band of the horse’s harness broke. The cart immediately tipped upward, throwing the catis over the roadside. The horse took fright and bolted, and Marshall was dragged along the road for a distance of about one hundred
yards before he was able to disengage himself from the reins. He crawled to a nearby house, and’ 1 ' collapsed. Medical attention was summoned, and he was conveyed to the Masterton Hospital.
